Milbank's after-hours Emergency Customer Support provides the support you need from a single contact. Here is the process:

  • Phone 800-227-5564.
  • Emergency orders should be placed on a separate purchase order and sent via E-mail or fax. The PO should clearly state that it is an "Emergency Order."
  • All emergency orders that are received will be considered "URGENT" and special handling charges will apply.
  • Customer is responsible for arranging a freight carrier (will call) for expedited freight and/or for arranging a freight carrier (will call) after Milbank normal business hours (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm CST).
  • If the product requested is stock and available to ship as soon as you arrange a freight carrier, a 5% handling charge will be added to the normal price paid.
  • If local stock is not available for emergency ordered product, there will be a 10% adder for any product that is built and shipped on an emergency need basis prior to the normal lead time. This charge will not exceed the 10% adder for "standard shelf type product." On some occasions, there may be additional charges associated with the procurement of raw materials, revising production schedules, incurring additional labor costs for overtime, etc. This charge will be added to the invoice as a separate line item.
  • Milbank Manufacturing will commit to a shipment date. If the product is not shipped within 1 working day of the agreed upon schedule or sooner, the adder will not be charged.
  • Orders shipped for an emergency, if authorized to be returned, are subject to restocking fees per our standard terms.
  • Special handling charges are not refundable, and non-stock special order items are not returnable.
