Milbank service pedestals can be installed at home sites - either on pads, or direct-buried next to the house - or at the lot line. Typically supplied with main breakers from 100 to 200 amps, many of today's service pedestals also include branch breakers with receptacle kits for temporary power, trouble shooting, or homeowner convenience. Pedestals rated up to 320 amps are available for specific requirements.

- All service pedestals are rated NEMA 3R for weather protection.
- Standard service pedestals are manufactured from 16 gauge AISI G90 galvanized steel with a baked gray powder polyester paint finish to improve corrosion resistance.
- Standard designs include 4 and 5 terminal meter sockets. Contact factory for three phase requirements.
- 100, 125, 150, 200, 320 amp (single phase) sockets are available for plug-in self-contained meters.
- Service pedestals without breakers are rated at 600 VAC. Service pedestals with breakers are rated at 120/240 VAC.
- Tamper resistant meter sockets are produced in both ringless and ring type designs to meet the installing utility requirements.
- The need for uninterrupted electric service can be accomplished by using optional horn bypass, or lever bypass depending on the socket chosen.
- Lever type sockets are available in bypass/jaw-clamping style only.
- Pad-mounted and direct-buried pedestals may require additional installation kits.
